The Royal Thai Consulate-General in New York organizes a volunteer activity donating essential goods for shelter in New York

On June 24, 2025, Miss Somjai Taphaopong, Consul General of Thailand in New York, along with officials and staff from the Royal Thai Consulate-General, Thai Trade Center and Thailand Board of Investment in New York, contributed essential goods to the Bowery Mission in New York.
 
The Bowery Mission, a non-profit organization founded in 1870 with support and donation from private sectors, remains committed to its mission in providing food, shelter, and basic needs for those who are in need as well as organizing activities for children and youths in New York.
 
On this occasion, the Royal Thai Consulate-General and Team Thailand in New York contributed essential goods for women and children, consumer goods in supporting the Mission’s work in providing basic needs to vulnerable people in New York.
 
This activity was part of the Consulate General and Team Thailand’s volunteer initiatives to provide public service and community support on the auspicious occasion of Her Majesty Queen Suthida Bajrasudhabimalalakshana’s Birthday Anniversary on June 3rd, 2025.
 
This activity also reflects the Consulate General and Team Thailand’s commitment in engaging and supporting local communities in New York through meaningful charitable activities in promoting mutual understanding between the Consulate General and Team Thailand and local communities.
