On May 19, 2025, Ms. Somjai Taphaopong, Consul-General of Thailand in New York, welcomed and held a discussion with Ms. Nina Kundra, Senior Vice President of the Business Council for International Understanding (BCIU), along with Mr. Fraser Leckie, Program Officer for the East Asia and Pacific region, at the Royal Thai Consulate-General.

 

     Both sides exchanged views on potential collaboration to promote trade and investment of the Thai public and private sectors. BCIU expressed its readiness to support organization of platforms for Thailand’s engagement with leading international private sector entities. Both parties will continue to coordinate on this matter.
