From February 7 to 9, 2024, Consul General Somjai Taphaopong led the team, along with Consul Katesuda Thongna and the staff of the Consulate General, on the first mobile consular activity for 2024 by providing Thai passport application services and consultations on consular matters to the Thai community residing in Boston, Raynham, and nearby areas. In total, 228 persons received passport application services and enquiries on consular matters.

 

The activity received generous support from Wat Nawamintararachutis Temple in Raynham/Boston, Massachusetts, as well as great cooperation from Mr. Threeracht Songtachalert, Honorary Vice Consul in Boston. During the event, Consul General Somjai and the Consulate’s team also jointly participated in merit-making activities for the monks and took the opportunity to meet with members of the Thai community in the area.
