On February 5, 2024, Consul General Somjai Taphaopong, together with the heads of the Team Thailand agencies in New York, including Thai Trade Center, Thailand Board of Investment Office, Bank of Thailand Representative Office, and Bangkok Bank, held a farewell meeting for Mr. Santi Sawaengcharoen, Director of Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT), New York Office, whose term of duty in New York has recently finished, and expressed their appreciation towards his unwavering dedication to promote Thai tourism in the U.S. and his continuous contribution in the spirit of Team Thailand. On this occasion, they were also delighted to warmly welcome Ms. Chompu Marusachot, the new TAT Director, to Team Thailand in NYC.
