On December 25, 2025, Ms. Somjai Taphaopong, Consul General of Thailand in New York, together with staff, attended a Christmas celebration at the Thai New York Church in Yonkers, New York, upon the invitation of Pastor Dr. Somboon Tessalee. Approximately 120 members of the Thai community participated in the event. On this occasion, the Royal Thai Consulate-General set up an information booth to provide guidance and facilitate overseas election registration for attendees.

During the event, Pastor Dr. Somboon delivered the opening remarks. Participants sang hymns, offered prayers, and enjoyed Thai cultural performances, including traditional Thai dance and Thai music. The Consul General then expressed her appreciation and extended Christmas greetings, while also encouraging Thai nationals who wish to exercise their voting rights in the overseas election to register online on their own. She further advised attendees to follow election-related updates from the Consulate-General, which has continuously disseminated important information on overseas elections through its Facebook page and official website.

In addition, on December 28, 2025, the Consul General led consular officers and staff to provide on-site assistance, answer questions regarding overseas voting, and facilitate overseas election registration at Wat Buddhathai Thavornwanaram in New York. Approximately 40 Thai nationals received services during this outreach activity.
