On December 19, 2025, Ms. Somjai Taphaopong, Consul General of Thailand in New York, together with Dr. Ketsuree Vijaranakorn, Senior Director, and Ms. Katekanok Sriputtangkul, Deputy Director, of the Thai Trade Center New York, attended the international Muay Thai competition Warriors Cup LXXV (75) at the Melrose Ballroom in New York City, at the invitation of Mr. Chris Tran, Founder of Warriors Cup.

The event marked the final international Muay Thai competition of 2025 in New York, United States, featuring several major championship bouts, including the WBC Muay Thai USA National Title (126 lbs), the WCMT US Interim Title (140 lbs), the WCMT North American Title (168 lbs), as well as a professional Muay Thai bout in the 200-lb division.
Warriors Cup is widely recognized as a leading Muay Thai promoter in the United States and is officially sanctioned by ONE Championship, as well as governed under WBC Muay Thai and GAMMA. Its competitions are distinguished by their commitment to preserving the authentic identity and spirit of traditional Muay Thai across both amateur and professional levels. Notably, Warriors Cup has also been a pioneer in advancing equality in the Muay Thai community by organizing the first transgender women’s championship bout in the United States.
