On December 11, 2025, Ms. Somjai Taphaopong, Consul General of Thailand in New York, together with officials and staff of the Royal Thai Consulate-General and Team Thailand agencies in New York, jointly organized and collected educational toys for youth, winter clothing, and essential items to donate to the Secret Snowflake – Online Donation Pledge: Support NYCHA Youth This Winter program of NYC Service, under the Office of the Mayor of New York City. The donated items will be distributed to more than 6,700 underprivileged children and youth in New York City during the Christmas and New Year holiday season.

The Royal Thai Consulate-General and Team Thailand agencies have carried out this initiative in collaboration with NYC Service for the third consecutive year. The project reflects the continuation of constructive cooperation between Thai government agencies and New York City authorities in community service and public benefit activities, demonstrating the goodwill and generosity of the Thai people while further enhancing Thailand’s positive image in the United States.
