In the afternoon of 24 September 2022, Consul General Fabio Chinda welcomed H.E. Mr. Don Pramudwinai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, at Little Thailand Way on Woodside Avenue in Queens, New York City, during his visit to meet with the Thai community.
Deputy Prime Minister Pramudwinai congratulated the Thai community in New York City for the street co-naming of Little Thailand Way declared by the New York City Council. He expressed his views that Little Thailand Way will help echo Thailand’s reputation in terms of food and culture, and, therefore, the Thai community plays an important role as Soft Power envoys in promoting amicable relations between Thailand and the United States at the people-to-people level. He also emphasized the role of the Royal Thai Consulate General in supporting the Thai community.
     In this occasion, Deputy Prime Minister received a warm welcome by the Thai community who came to greet and talk with him, and also with a beautiful welcoming cultural performance by members of the community.
