On December 9, 2023, Consul General Somjai Taphaopong attended the 'Holiday Spectacular on Ice' organized by The Gateway Performing Arts Center of Suffolk County at Gateway Playhouse in Bellport, New York, to show support for Gabrielle Kanog Freeman, a 7-year-old Thai-American figure skater who delivered an excellent performance during the show. In gaining this experience, Gabrielle had the opportunity to learn and work with Ms. Nancy Kerrigan, a former U.S. Olympic figure skater, and Mr. Keith Andrews, a renowned show director on both national and international scales.

 

     The Royal Thai Consulate General wishes to congratulate Gabrielle for her successful show, which received a big round of applause from the audience, as well as to extend admiration to Mrs. Yaowapa Yael Kanogkaew Freeman and Mr. Eric Freeman, M.D., her parents, for their unwavering support dedicated to enhancing Gabrielle’s talent.
