Visa Information

E-Stickerless System Since 27 September 2021, the Royal Thai Embassy / Consulate has implemented a “Stickerless” E-Visa service. Submitting a Passport and original documents via mail to the Royal Thai Embassy/ Consulate is no longer required.

  Attention

  • Processing time is up to 15 business days (Weekend and Holiday Excluded)/Consulate's Holidays 2024. This means within 15 business days; you should see the status update on your Visa application dashboard. If you received an email requesting more documents, please allow an additional 5 business days after you submitted additional documents for your Visa to be processed.

  • Visa fee is nonrefundable, please double-check all information before submitting, especially if your device is using auto fill or auto correct. Mismatch information will be rejected as the officers cannot edit any information entered by the applicant. Applicants will have to re-submit and the Visa fee is non-refundable.

  • Per the regulation, the Consulate/ Embassy "cannot" issue a visa for foreign nationals who are currently in Thailand. All travelers need to obtain a visa before entering Thailand. *If you entered Thailand without a visa, please contact the Immigration Bureau (immigration.go.th) to explore the options in your case*

  • Consular officers reserve the right to request additional documents as deemed necessary and reserve the right to reject any application without having to provide reasons.

**It is recommended to plan and apply for a Visa around 1 month prior to the departure date**

**Please note that most types of Visa have a validity of 90 days, do not apply more than 3 months in advance as your Visa will expire before your traveling date**

**A visa becomes effective from the date of issuance. If you apply too early the visa may expire before your trip and you will have to re-apply. The fee is nonrefundable**

**Due to a large number of applications, the Embassy does not check individual status**
