The Royal Thai Consulate General in New York is responsible for the issuance of e-Visa for residents in 10 Northeastern states of the U.S., or so-called consular jurisdiction, namely Connecticut, New York, New Jersey, New Hampshire, Maine, Massachusetts, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Rhode Islands, and Vermont.

     Tourist_Visa

For Tourist Visa (TR), applicants must

 
  • Upload travel itinerary (evidence of flight numbers and dates to and from Thailand),
  • Upload proof of accommodation (evidence showing where you will be staying throughout your visit to Thailand),
  • Upload proof of adequate finance (minimum 700 USD for single entry tourist visa )

PROCESSING TIME

  1. It is highly recommended to apply for a visa approximately one month before your intended travel date.
  2.  The visa application must be submitted online no more than 90 days and no later than 14 days before your trip.
  3.  Consular officers reserve the right to request additional documents as deemed necessary as well as the right to reject any application without having to provide reason.
