On October 10, 2024, Miss Somjai Taphaopong, Consul General of Thailand in New York, presided over the wreath-laying ceremony on the occasion of the Memorial Day of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej The Great, October 13, 2024. The ceremony, comprising wreath-laying, delivering a remembrance statement, and standing in silent tribute, was held at the Consulate General premises and attended by officials of the Royal Thai Consulate General and Team Thailand agencies in New York.
