On 27 November 2025, Mr. Khantong Nuanual, Deputy Consul-General represented Consul-General of Thailand in New York, at the Thanksgiving celebration organized by two Thai churches in New York City: Mahaporn Church of New York, led by Pastor Atchara A. Rattanasophon, and the Thai New York Church, led by Pastor Dr. Somboon Tatsalee. Officials from the Royal Thai Consulate-General also participated in the events.
Both churches are Thai-led Christian congregations that serve as important spiritual and community centers for Thai Christians in New York and neighboring states within the consular jurisdiction. They regularly host major religious observances and traditional Thai cultural activities for the Thai community. The Royal Thai Consulate-General places great importance on supporting these Thai churches and continues to do so as part of its commitment to strengthening the Thai community abroad.
