On November 7, 2025, the Permanent Mission of Thailand to the United Nations in New York, in collaboration with the Royal Thai Consulate-General in New York, held the Fifteenth-Day Merit-Making Ceremony (marking fifteen days since Her Majesty’s passing) in dedication to Her Majesty Queen Sirikit The Queen Mother at the Permanent Mission’s premises in New York. The ceremony included Buddhist chanting by eight monks, dedicating the merit to Her Majesty Queen Sirikit The Queen Mother.
The ceremony was presided over by H.E. Mr. Cherdchai Chaivaivid, Ambassador and Permanent Representative of Thailand to the United Nations in New York, and attended by Ms. Somjai Taphaopong, Consul General of Thailand in New York, together with officials and staff from the Permanent Mission, the Consulate-General, and Team Thailand agencies. All participants joined in solemn remembrance to pay tribute and express their profound gratitude for Her Majesty’s boundless grace and benevolence.
