Thai Fashion Brands at New York Fashion Week Fall/Winter 2026

On 13 February 2026, Consul General Somjai Taphaopong, together with officials from the Royal Thai Consulate-General in New York, attended “Up to the Sky”- a fashion presentation featuring collections from four Thai brands - held on the 102nd floor of the One World Observatory during New York Fashion Week (NYFW) Fall/Winter 2026.
 
This year, the Department of International Trade Promotion (DITP), Ministry of Commerce of Thailand, and the Thai Trade Center New York selected four Thai designers- Landmee, SARRAN, Takara Wong Studios, and Vickteerut - from 19 applicants under the Megatrend Setter project to showcase their work at NYFW. The initiative aims to elevate the global profile of Thai fashion and expand international market opportunities for Thai fashion and lifestyle products.
 
The show highlighted the creativity of Thai designers, blending contemporary style with Thai artistic and cultural identity. A striking “Ravana in the Dark Shadow” art balloon installation, offering over 400 attendees - buyers, media, editors, influencers and guests in fashion industry - a memorable cultural connection. Following the show, all four brands will feature their collections at a Pop-Up Store at 3NY in the SoHo, creating opportunities to reach buyers and expand the presence of Thai fashion in the U.S. and international markets.
 
On this occasion, the Consul General, together with Ms. Chompu Marusachot, Director of the Tourism Authority of Thailand, New York Office, congratulated the designers and expressed appreciation to Dr. Ketsuree Vijaranakorn, senior director of Thai Trade Center, New York and her team for the successful event.
