Supporting Young Fashion Designers at New York Fashion Week

On September 13, 2026, Consul General Somjai Taphaopong attended a fashion showcase featuring Thai youth designers whose wearable art was selected for presentation at New York Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2027, held at the Vanderbilt building at the heart of global fashionarena.

Driven by artistic inspiration and parental encouragement, young designers Hero and Winnie submitted their original paintings transformed into unique custom-printed textile patterns. The brother-and-sister duo behind the brand Keziah—Winnie-Keziah Chumpuang (age 14) and Hero-Wajana Chumpuang (age 15)—previously showcased their work at New York Fashion Week in 2022, building their brand around vibrant watercolor art translated into signature fabrics.

The brand Keziah was

founded in 2019, embracing the concept of "Art to Fashion" and inspired by works of art. It has made three appearances at New York Fashion Week—in 2022, 2025, and 2026—before showcasing its collections at Milan Fashion Week, Paris Fashion Week, and the Cannes Film Festival.
