On Saturday, 13 December 2025, the Royal Thai Consulate-General in New York, led by Miss Somjai Taphaopong, Consul General of Thailand in New York, together with Consul Thammajit Thitimontre and consular staff, organized special after-hours consular services at the Consulate-General’s premises.

​The services provided included passport services, Thai national ID card services, legalization and document certification, as well as general consular consultations. The initiative received a very positive response from members of the Thai community who came to receive the services.

​This special consular service initiative has been organized for the third consecutive year. The first session was held in December 2023 at the Consul General’s residence, with the aim of facilitating access to consular services for Thai nationals residing in New York and consular states, and of offering the service as a New Year’s gift to the Thai community.
