On November 13, 2024, Miss Somjai Taphaopong, Consul General of Thailand in New York, welcomed Officer Gina Gao, Officer Loujay Rivera, and Officer James Kearney, NYPD, at the Consulate premises. On this occasion, Consul General Somjai provided an overview of the Thai community in New York City, and both sides exchanged views on matters related to the protection and support for the Thai community as well as prospects to organize joint activities to strengthen their work in this area further.
