On February 11, 2025, Ms. Somjai Taphaopong, Consul General of Thailand in New York, along with officials from the Royal Thai Consulate-General, was invited to attend One Night in Bangkok, a Thai designer fashion show held during New York Fashion Week 2025 at Ideal Glass Studio, New York. The event was organized by the Thai Trade Center - New York, with the esteemed presence of Mr. Warawut Somwangprasert, Deputy Director-General of the Department of International Trade Promotion (DITP), under the leadership of Dr. Ketsuree Vijaranakorn, Senior Director of the Thai Trade Center - New York

     This fashion show was part of DITP’s Megatrend Setter project, which aims to promote Thai lifestyle products on the global stage. Four Thai fashion brands showcased their collections at the event: Vinn Patararin, Matter Makers, Merge, and Vickteerut. Following NYFW 2025, these brands will launch their products on e-commerce platforms and participate in a Pop-Up Store in SoHo, New York, alongside other Thai lifestyle brands.

     On this occasion, the Consul General engaged with and expressed admiration for the Thai designers, celebrating their remarkable achievement in presenting their work on an international stage. She also congratulated Dr. Ketsuree Vijaranakorn on the successful execution of this prestigious event.
