On September 10, 2025, the Royal Thai Consulate General in New York organized a ceremony to commemorate the 100th Birthday Anniversary of His Majesty King Ananda Mahidol on September 20, 2025. The ceremony consists of Buddhist chanting ceremony, merit-making, an alms-giving ceremony to 5 monks, and paid homage to His Majesty King Ananda Mahidol.

 

     On this occasion, Ms. Somjai Taphaopong, Consul General in New York, presided over the ceremony, which was attended by officials and staff of Royal Thai Consulate-General and Team Thailand in New York at New York Dhammaram Temple, New York City.
