Consul General Fabio Chinda and Mrs. Maneevarong, his spouse, presided over the Thai Cultural Center of New York’s resuming in-person classes event on 26 February 2023. Also attending the event were Consul Phawinee, Cultural Center board members, teachers, students and their parents.

The Thai Cultural Center of New York was founded in 1986 as a center for learning and promoting Thai language, Thai traditional dance, Thai traditional music, and Western music for Thai youth/Thai Americans in New York and nearby. The aforementioned effort of the Cultural Center over the years has undoubtedly contributed greatly to the Thai community.
