On October 30, 2025, the Permanent Mission of Thailand to the United Nations in New York, in collaboration with the Royal Thai Consulate-General in New York, organized the Seventh-Day Merit-Making Ceremony (marking seven days since Her Majesty’s passing) in dedication to Her Majesty Queen Sirikit The Queen Mother at the Royal Thai Consulate-General in New York.

 

The ceremony was presided over by H.E. Mr. Cherdchai Chaivaivid, Ambassador and Permanent Representative of Thailand to the United Nations in New York, and attended by Ms. Somjai Taphaopong, Consul General of Thailand in New York, together with officials and staff of the Consulate-General, the Permanent Mission, and Team Thailand agencies, along with their spouses. All participants joined in solemn remembrance to pay tribute and express their heartfelt gratitude for Her Majesty’s boundless benevolence.
