On 23 October 2022, Consul General assigned Consul Phawinee Chansamran to preside over the Royal Kathina Ceremony held at Vajiradhammapadip Temple in New York. The Ceremony was gratefully attended by official and officers from the Permanent Mission of Thailand to the United Nations and the Royal Thai Consulate General in New York along with the Thai Community.
