The Celebration on the auspicious occasion of the 99th Birthday Anniversary of His Holiness Somdet Phra Ariyavongsagatanana, the Supreme Patriarch of Thailand

     On 26 June 2026, the Royal Thai Consulate-General in New York, in collaboration with
New York Dhammaram Temple, organized a Buddhist chanting and an alms-giving ceremony dedicated to Her Royal Highness Princess Bajrakitiyabha Narendiradebyavati Krom Luang Rajasarinisiribajra Mahajakribajrabalarajadhita with Royal initiative of His Holiness Somdet Phra Ariyavongsagatanana, the Supreme Patriarch of Thailand on the auspicious occasion of
the 99th Birthday Anniversary of His Holiness at New York Dhammaram Temple.

     The ceremony was presided over by Miss Somjai Taphaopong, Consul-General of Thailand to New York, as the lay chairperson, The event was attended by officials and staff from the Royal Thai Consulate-General, Team Thailand agencies, and members of the local Thai community.

     During the ceremony, the Consul-General lit the paid homage to the Triple Gem, and offered food, Sanghadana (monastic offerings), and requisites to the monks. The congregation of Buddhist monks then chanted prayers as a tribute to the royal grace and to dedicate royal merit
to Her Royal Highness Princess Bajrakitiyabha Narendiradebyavati Krom Luang Ratchasarinee Siripatchara Maha Watchararat Thida.
