On Saturday, December 8, 2024 Miss Somjai Taphaopong, Consul General of Thailand, together with Consul Katesuda Thongna and the consular team, organized a special weekend consular services at the Royal Thai Consulate General in New York. The services provided included passport applications, ID card renewals, signature legalizations, as well as offering consultations on other consular matters. The event was well received by the attendants.

 

     Following its successful debut in December last year at the Consul General’s residence, this special service day was conducted for the second consecutive year to facilitate Thais residing in New York and other states in accessing consular services. It also served as a heartfelt New Year’s gift to the Thai community.

 

     Throughout the day, Consul General Taphaopong warmly welcomed attendees, extended her New Year’s best wishes, and had a chance to discuss their well-being within their respective communities. To extend the Consulate’s hospitality, snacks and refreshing herbal drinks were served to all participants.
