On March 3, 2024, Consul General Somjai Taphaopong, along with Deputy Consul General Jiraporn Jiranantakij and Consul Katesuda Thongna, joined the Thai community and local Christians in celebrating the 33rd anniversary of the Chour-Thai Reformed Church of Greater NY. The Consul General took this opportunity to offer her best wishes and express her appreciation for the Church's endeavors in supporting the unity and strength of the Thai community.

 

     During the event, Consul General Somjai also enjoyed and showed her warm support for the Thai classical music ensemble and traditional Thai dances performed by the Thai-American younger generation and members of the Thai community. The performances reflect the admirable efforts of the community to beautifully promote Thai culture abroad.
