On 8 September 2022, Consul General Fabio Chinda gave a warm welcome to Mr. Amir Farid Abu Hassan, Consul General of Malaysia, on the occasion that Consul General Amir Farid has just assumed his duty in New York. They took this opportunity to discuss consular cooperation among ASEAN Consulates, and exchanged views on their measures to protect Thai and Malaysian nationals under New York’s current socio-economic circumstances.
