On 28 August 2022, Consul General Fabio Chinda, together with Mrs. Maneevarong, his spouse, presided over the consecration ceremony of the newly built chapel at Wat Pa Buddha Thai Thavorn Albany Temple in New York. The ceremony was graciously attended by 45 monks and hundreds of Buddhists from all over the US. Some members of the Thai community also took part in providing charitable meals at the temple. This portrays the strength and warmth of Thai community powered by their support towards the Buddhist temples.
