On 14 June 2022, Consul General Fabio Chinda and Mrs. Maneevarong Chinda, his spouse, together with Ms. Ketsuree Vijaranakorn, Executive Director of Thai Trade Center, Deputy Consul General Jiraporn Jiranantakij and Consul Athikom Daengpun, met with Thai food sector entrepreneurs who participated in the ‘Summer Fancy Food Show’ organized by the Specialty Food Association (SFA) in New York City.

At the Show, 18 Thai businesses showcased their food products including rice, instant food products, beverages, fruits, sauces, snacks, as well as plant-based products which are in the global trend nowadays. The event was attended by thousands of food buyers in the US per day.

Consul General discussed and exchanged views on opportunities for Thai food products in the US with the Thai entrepreneurs, whose participation is well supported by the Department of International Trade Promotion and the Thai Trade Center - New York.
