On 24 January 2023, Consul General Fabio Chinda chaired a meeting to discuss opportunities to promote Thai restaurant businesses. The meeting was held at the Royal Thai Consulate General in cooperation with the Thai Trade Center led by Ms. Ketsuree Vijaranakorn and participated by Mr. Prin Pongjaroen, Assistant Director of the Tourism Authority of Thailand.
     The three offices, as part of the Team Thailand in New York, joined hands to hold this meeting with the aim of providing an open platform for Thai restaurant owners to discuss and share views on opportunities and concerns in business doings as well as forging a cooperation among themselves to better cope with the challenges they are mutually facing. Moreover, the three offices also took this opportunity to express their willingness to support the strengthening of Thai restaurants in NYC.
     In addition to the meeting, the Thai Trade Center has further introduced the ‘Thai Select’ program as an ongoing Thai restaurant certification project to promote Thai restaurants abroad through various channels.
