On August 15, 2023, Consul General Somjai Taphaopong and Consul Phawinee Chansamran visited Ohio University and engaged in discussions with Associate Professor Pittaya Paladroi-Shane, lecturer at the university's International Study Center, together with Thai students, international students who are learning the Thai language and representatives from the Thai community in Athens, Ohio, to exchange views on the prospects for enhancing the teaching of the Thai language, promoting Thailand, and fostering further collaboration in education and Thai culture in the future.
