On November 19, 2023, Consul General Somjai Taphaopong assigned Deputy Consul General Jiraporn Jiranantakij to preside over the Royal Kathina Ceremony held at Buddha Thai Thavorn Vanaram Temple in New York City. The Ceremony was gratefully attended by officials and staff members from the Royal Thai Consulate General and Team Thailand agencies in New York along with the Thai Community.
