On September 6-8, 2023, Consul General Somjai Taphaopong led the team, along with Consul Phawinee Chansamran and the consular staff, on a mission to provide mobile consular services, including Thai passport applications and consultations on consular matters, to the Thai community residing in Raynham/Boston and nearby areas. The mission received generous support from Wat Nawamintararachutis Temple in Raynham/Boston, Massachusetts.

     During this event, Consul General Somjai and the Consulate’s team actively participated in merit-making activities and offered lunch to the monks. Consul General also took the opportunity to meet with the Honorary Vice Consul in Boston, the    Coordinator of the Buddhist Thai Sunday School at Wat Nawamintararachutis Temple, the President of the Thai Association in New England*, and members of the Thai community in the area.
