On June 24, 2024, Miss Somjai Taphaopong, Consul General of Thailand in New York, together with Senior Director Ketsuree Vijaranakorn of the Thai Trade Center, visited the ‘Thailand Booth’ at the Summer Fancy Food Show organized by Specialty Food Association at Javits Center in New York City.

 

The Show serves as a venue for international food and beverage businesses to showcase their products, with the expectation of expanding their market to the U.S., especially in the northeast region. This year, more than 20 Thai companies (including ones participating in the ‘SMEs Pro-active’ project of the Department of International Trade Promotion (DITP) of Thailand) took part, featuring a variety of products such as rice, sauces, curry paste, dried fruits, beverages, and snacks.

 

The Consulate General would like to thank Thai Trade Center - New York for supporting Thai entrepreneurs in participating in such impactful activities, helping to further expand the market for Thai products in the United States.
