On 27 May 2023, Consul General Fabio Chinda, together with Mrs. Maneevarong Chinda, his spouse, joined the Thai community at the Open Street event in celebration of the Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) Heritage Month at Little Thailand Way in New York City.

     The Open Street was organized by Thai Community USA NYC and the NYC Department of Transport in honor of the AAPI Heritage Month and the Thai-American community’s contributions towards the American society. At the event, there were musical and cultural performances, a variety of food and merchandise by local vendors, and the mini studio for Thai traditional costume photoshoots.

     At the opening ceremony, Consul General Fabio greeted all who were participating at the event, along with the honorable presence of Mr. Shekar Krishnan, NYC Council Member, Mr. Steven Raga, NYS Assembly Member, and Ms. Brianna Cea, President of OCA-NY.
