On 8 December 2022, Consul Phawinee Chansamran attended the Holiday Follies performed by ‘Senior on the Move’ held in Yonkers. The event was co-organized by City of Yonkers, Westchester County, and New York State’s offices. Mrs. Andrea Stewart-Cousins, Senator of New York State, Mrs. Shelley Meyer, Senator of New York State and Mr. Mike Spano, Mayor of Yonkers also attended the event.
Consul Phawinee met with Thai community and gave warm support to the Anurak Thai Dance Association of NY USA members who were invited to perform Thai cultural dance, which also served as a great opportunity for Thai community in joining the celebration of the cultural diversity of New York City.
