On August 2, 2023, Consul General Somjai Taphaopong attended the Appreciation Night event hosted by Ms. Tammy Ngan, President of the Asian American Activity Center (AAAC), to thank Consulates General and local organizations for taking part in organizing ‘The Charm of Asia: May Extravaganza New York 2023’ which was held on May 6-7, 2023. The Royal Thai Consulate General, together with Tourism Authority of Thailand NA, had supported the active participation of the Thai community to promote Thai culture at the said event which was successfully welcomed by the visitors.
